Resident Experience Manager Reports To: Alexis Luedtke, Director of Residential Property Management at Wangard Partners, Inc.
Overview: The Resident Experience Manager is a strategic, service-oriented professional dedicated to improving leasing performance and elevating the resident experience throughout our multifamily portfolio. In this mid-level, mobile role, you’ll partner closely with the Director of Residential Property Management to support onsite leasing teams, troubleshoot challenges in real time, and identify proactive strategies to meet occupancy goals. You will be empowered to identify and implement strategic leasing initiatives—ranging from tailored concessions to market-responsive promotional adjustments—to drive occupancy and support revenue goals. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a proactive mindset and a strong track record in leasing performance. Essential Duties:
Lead, coach, and support leasing consultants across multiple sites to drive lead conversion, follow-up effectiveness, and portfolio occupancy.
Conduct site visits to assess leasing performance, support prospect tours, and troubleshoot challenges.
Ensure accurate and strategic use of CRM systems (ChatIQ, REACH, Site Manager) and Yardi for clean data tracking and informed leasing decisions.
Leverage all leasing and marketing tools to support presentations, outreach, and training.
Work closely with the Marketing team to coordinate listing visibility, market positioning, and prospect engagement materials.
Analyze weekly traffic, lead activity, and conversion rates to adjust leasing strategy and meet occupancy goals.
Assist with leasing execution and documentation within Yardi, including new leases and move-in coordination.
Support residents with onboarding the resident portal and resolving related leasing or portal issues.
Partner with Property Managers to ensure seamless leasing-to-living transitions, including move-ins, renewals, and engagement events.
Remain informed on market conditions, rent trends, and competitor offerings to drive competitive advantage.
Regularly audit ILS listings and collaborate with Marketing to ensure accuracy and visibility.
Lead and support initiatives like the Resident Ambassador Program to enhance referrals and resident satisfaction.

Experience and Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent related work experience
Proven successful sales experience
3 years of experience in relevant sales role
1+ year as a manager preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of the full cycle of sales with an entrepreneurial mindset to grow
Experience and knowledge of Yardi preferred
Physical Demands Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 30 pounds. The employee will be regularly required to sit; stand; walk; reach using feet, legs, back, arms and hands; talk and hear. The employee may occasionally be required to climb. The employee will be required to work at a personal computer and talk on the phone for extended periods of time. Must possess the ability to detect auditory and/or visual alarms and be available to work extended/flexible hours and weekends, as needed.
Attendance/Travel This position is a full-time salaried position. This position requires the availability to work some nights, weekends, and occasional holidays. This position also requires regular attendance and active participation at all company functions and events.
